Meet Cyan Dhiya Neufeld!
Dhiya’s dream after finishing school is to go and study at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
To achieve her goal, Dhiya, with a natural entrepreneurial knack, decided to take control of her destiny and start a plush toy business to raise money for her future education.
The young entrepreneur uses crochet, a stitching technique using a hooked needle to create unique shapes and patterns from yarm and other textiles. Dhiya has a love for bees and so creating a Plush Bee came naturally to her but she has also created other cute plush animals such as dassie, fish and jellyfish!
Dhiya plans to expand her range of plush toys in due course to offer greater variety for her customers.
